An open letter to Chief Justice John Roberts

Your court has diluted the voice of the American people with your short-sighted ruling in the Citizen’s United case. But be on notice that the American people want our democracy back. AND WE HAVE A VOICE-LOUD AND CLEAR.

Today, the Susan G. Komen foundation had to back-pedal on their decision to buckle under to well-financed political pressure to drop Planned Parenthood from their contribution list. This was a well organized, and highly hurtful campaigned aimed at an American institution that has aided millions of women lawfully and with the protection from the very court you now preside over. What it should show you, Mr. Roberts, is that the American people still have a voice. We will use it. We stand for TRUE American principles that say one person-one vote. You and your ruling cannot buy our elections or our voice.

We will bury your stupid decision that weakens out society by giving to the wealthiest of wealthy the right to finance an election in the way in which they see fit. We are not standing for it. Right now 22 Americans and their companies account for over 70% of the Super Pac funds in America. Twenty-two, sir. We will fight it and your stupid decision every step of the way. We will defeat Citizen’s United, because we recognize it as one of the biggest mistakes in our country’s history. Both liberals and conservative HATE your decision. This vitriolic reaction crosses both parties, it crossed economic lines and racial lines. It is not a northern or southern issue. It is an American issue.

Stand ready for our wrath. We have just found our voice.
